Wired Style: Internet is now internet
Wired Magazine has made a slight change to their manual of style regarding capitalization of internet, web, and net.
Personally, I’ve noticed myself slipping towards the leading lowercase for a while now, especially with web and net. However, newspaper and magazine style guides don’t change very often, so it is a matter of some importance.
