• 2 oz. Bombay Sapphire Gin
• 3 drops Martini & Rossi Dry Vermouth
• 3 Green Olives (no pimentos)
It is my habit to keep the gin in the freezer. Since any liquor over 30% alcohol
will not freeze, it eliminates the need for ice, reducing the chance to water
down the martini. Add the drops of vermouth to the glass and spin the glass
to coat it. Add the gin, and garnish with the skewered olives. Enjoy in all
of its swankiness.
Tanqueray No. Ten in place of the Sapphire adds a nice twist, but in my opinion, just doesn't compare. Also, if you can find Lillet in your neck of the woods, give it a try in place of the Martini & Rossi.
