The Hitching Post II
The Hitching Post is one of the featured locals in Sideways, and known for their Pinot Noir and barbeque. Coincidentally, I’ve been buying HP wines for the last few years; not because of my high-brow wine snobbery or my excellent palate, but because the Hartley name appears on the label (Hartley Ostini Hitching Post Winery).

Next time I make it out to the Bay Area, I’ve been instructed to make FPWM a must-stop destination. Their web site seems to convey the same feel as the personal recommendation I received. Please comment if you’ve been there and confirm the recommendation.
